Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families directly affected by this tragedy and to the community of Kirkwood.

From the Executives and employees of Emerson and it's St. Louis based divisions we are pleased to send a check in the amount of $10,000. The gift is our support for the five families struck by the tragic shooting at Kirkwood City Hall on February 7.

DES PERES, MO (February 19, 2008)— On Saturday, March 1st, Noodles & Company located at 13307 Manchester Rd in Des Peres Pointe, will be donating 50% of the sales to The Kirkwood Memorial Benefit Fund

Thanks Deanteam for setting up this memorial fund. You all know how close it strikes to my family when something like this happens. Our prayers go out to all the victims, but especially to my brothers in blue and their families.

We were saddened to learn of the tragic events in Kirkwood last week. We decided to donate all tips collected in our store from thursday the 14th, and thanks to the generosity of the neighboorhood, raised $500. The victims remain in the minds and hearts of all St. Louisans!

I offer my deepest sympathies to the families of the fallen public servants of Kirkwood. It is unthinkable to me that this horrific tragedy could befall the quiet little town where I was raised and where my parents still live. It is Kirkwood and the spirit of Kirkwood that has inspired my own desire to serve. May that spirit never be crushed and may all the people of Kirkwood come together over this tragedy and celebrate all that is good in your community.
